Patri Friedman
Patri Friedman is the executive director of the Seasteading Institute, which seeks to create platforms in international waters that will house new permanent communities. These could theoretically experiment with a wide variety of social and political arrangements, particularly of a libertarian form. Friedman is a former Google engineer, a board member of the transhumanist group Humanity+, and a successful competitive poker player.
