Stephen Lewis

Stephen Lewis is professor of economics emeritus and former president of Carleton College. He has been associated with Botswana for thirty years. He is the editor for ex-president of Botswana Quett Masire’s autobiography Memoirs of an African Democrat, to be published later this month by Palgrave Macmillan. Lewis’ case study on Botswana is summarized in Lawrence Harrison’s book The Central Liberal Truth.
