Dr. Roland Benedikter is Co-Head of the Center for Advanced Studies of Eurac Research Bozen-Bolzano, the research flagship of the Autonomous Province of South Tyrol, Northern Italy, Research Professor of Multidisciplinary Political Analysis in residence at the Willy Brandt Centre of the University of Wroclaw-Breslau, Poland, and Affiliate Scholar of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies IEET Hartford, Connecticut. He is the co-author of two Pentagon and U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff White Papers (Strategic Multilayer Assessment, SMA) on Future Technologies, one Report to the Club of Rome and author and editor of more than 20 books, 300 articles and 18 encyclopedia entries.
