Steven E. Landsburg

Steven E. Landsburg is a professor of economics at the University of Rochester, where his research interests include algebraic K-theory, quantum game theory, the philosophy of science, and moral philosophy.

He is the author of the books The Armchair EconomistFair PlayMore Sex is Safer Sex: The Unconventional Wisdom of Economics, and The Big Questions: Tackling the Problems of Philosophy with Ideas from Mathematics, Economics and PhysicsLandsburg has appeared frequently in national popular publications including Slate, Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and others. Landsburg holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Chicago.
