Chris Koopman is a Research Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and program manager for the Project for the Study of American Capitalism. He researches economic regulations, competition, and innovation, with a focus on public choice and the economics of government favoritism. 

Koopman holds a J.D. from Ave Maria University and an LL.M. in law and economics at George Mason University.
